We are so glad you joined us, Heike. Please grab our "featured" button below and wear it on your blog.
Here's another look at the sketch:

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by March 29th at Midnight EST to be in the running for one of our prizes. All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr. (Though we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge. We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting us today. We hope our sketch inspires you. Be sure to show us what you've made because we love to see your work and hand out prizes.

Design Team News

Hello friends!  Today I  am sharing a bit of Design Team news with you.  For personal reasons I opted not to have a design team call for the upcoming term.  Instead, I reached out to the current team to see who would be able to remain with me for another term.  As luck would have it, almost every one of our existing DT could!  Sadly, we are saying good bye to Raechelle Bellus, we know you will miss her designs as much as we will but of course we wish her well in all she does!

We are welcoming back the following team members...

I have also reached out to a few scrappers to "grow" our team.  Having a team of only 12 was very important to me, for a long time, if felt like a great size, manageable and not overwhelming.  But maybe it is time for a change.  What this means for our followers, is more eye candy!  And more opportunities for future DT members.

I would like to introduce you to our newest team members, please join in me welcoming the following scrappers to Stuck?! Sketches!

Christine is a busy stay-at-home mom to three sons and one daughter. She takes her downtime (and maintains her santiy) in the crafting world dabbling in every type possible from diy home decor to scrapbooking. She was born and raised in Los Angeles but went away to Texas for college where she met her husband. She's been married to her husband for 17 years and together they've moved 8 times with the latest move landing them in Central Ohio. She is always ready to travel and is enjoying exploring a new part of the country. She loves math, cooking, coffee, and a yummy bowl of ice cream. She has a whimsical and colorful style with clean lines but loves to mess around with whatever trends are on the scene at the moment. She's always on the lookout for a clever twist to add to a project be it thru changing up a product or technique to make it her own. She's been lucky enough to serve on design teams for numerous manufacturers as well as be published in both print and online magazines. She's taught classes for local stores, taught kids classes at schools, and regularly creates videos for her new YouTube channel. She is a social butterfly and loves to connect with friends and crafters from around the world through all different forms of social media.

My name is Sandy Ross and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada and I am married to a wonderful man who supports my scrapbooking hobby. We have three amazing grown children and two adorable grandsons. They are my inspiration for scrapbooking – to capture and cherish memories forever. I’ve been crafty as long as I can remember, but seriously addicted to scrapbooking for the last seven years. I also love to sew and quilting is my passion. I can’t say I have a distinct style because I really like experimenting and trying new techniques. I love to follow sketches so I am thrilled to be returning to Stuck?! Sketches after being away for the past year. I can't wait to get started!!!

Hi there! I am excited to joining the design team here at Stuck?! Sketches! My husband, Greg and I, live in central Wisconsin. We have two children: Sierra, 19, is a freshman in college. Austin, 17, is a junior in high school. I am the Food Service Director at the school. Besides scrapping, I enjoy reading, camping and gardening. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Hello, my name is Ashley Smith. I live in Virginia with my husband, two children (12 year old twins), and three kitties. Before I had children, I was an elementary teacher. Now I’m a stay at home mom who loves to scrapbook, read, and dream about travelling.
I started scrapbooking almost ten years ago when my children were young. I was walking through a bookstore one day, saw a scrapbooking magazine and was immediately hooked.
Sketches have always helped me get started when I sit down to start a layout. In fact, sometimes I start with a sketch first and then go find the pictures to go with it. I am really looking forward to being on the Stuck Sketches team.
(Ashley will be starting with us beginning the June 1st sketch.)

We will also be adding one more person, who will be joining us in May once she is finished up with a current DT commitment.  We will keep you posted on that.

I want to thank you for following along with us, entering our challenges and supporting our amazing sponsors; it means so much to all of us!  Please watch for our usual DT call in the Fall!

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

We have a new guest designer joining us today, please help us welcome Suzanna Lee to Stuck?! Sketches!

I will let Suzanna tell you a bit about herself....

Hey scrappy peeps! What an absolute pleasure it is to join Laura and her sketchy gals this month as a guest designer! I am Suzanna Lee; mother, wife, Physical Therapist, cat nap partner and a whole host of other titles! I have long had a hand in the crafting world but my love for patterned paper and fussy cutting began when we moved here to Glen Allen, Virginia and my paper collecting hobby became a paper cutting and album creating hobby! My first gig as a Design Team member for our (now out of business) local scrapbook store led to another team and another and I have been going ever since.

My style is rather eclectic. I tend to be more graphic and linear with a preference for straight lines and a clean look. I have been known however to meddle with watercolor and messy things that add a very different look to a page. I scrapbook in all shapes and sizes; 12x12, letter, pocket, double page, you name it, I do it.

Over the years, I have had the honor and pleasure of working with several sketch/challenge, manufacturer and kit design teams, and have had my layouts published in magazines and books. When not in my scrappy nook, I can be found chauffeuring or cheering for my swimmers, at work as a Physical Therapist or chilling at home with a book or the cat. You can find me on social media in the following places;
