Announcing....

Thank you to those of you who applied for our 8.5 x 11 CT call. We had a great response and the decision was difficult.

We have selected two new 8.5 x 11 designers and they are:

Louise Nelson

About me, well I have been scrapbooking for 5 years now and I love it more and more everyday. I especially love the friendships I have made through his fabulous craft. I love to create at every spare opportunity, so much so that I do something scrap related almost every day. I am very much a hands-on type of creative so will probably always remain mostly a traditional scrapper.

When I am not creating I work full-time as an Operating Room Nurse. I work for Adelaide’s main Specialist Perioperative Nursing Agency, and as such go to a different hospital nearly every day. I mostly work in 3-4 of Adelaide’s major Public Hospitals and 1 of the main/larger Private Hospitals. I tend to get most of my work in the areas of Adult Trauma, and occasionally in Paediatric Trauma and emergency Obstetric and Gynaecology; in the Public Sector, and mostly ENT, Head and Neck Surgery; in the Private Sector. I truly love my profession and cant think of a more satisfying or fulfilling job that I would rather be doing at this moment in time!

Whilst this job can be pretty physically and mentally demanding, I try to keep a good ’work-life’ balance, and scrapbooking helps me to do that.

 Tara Scobie

I am 28 years old, living with my partner Mark and our 3 beautiful kids in country NSW, which I love, it's such a pretty place to call home! I love to take photo's, my favourite subjects being my kids, my brand new little niece, and all the weird and wonderful things around us! I also work part time as a florist, so I get to be creative at work as well as home!

The girls will be providing samples from October 1st, so check back to see their creations then.

** Sponsor Update - Red Earth Scrapping**

Photobucket

Hi everyone, I'm Helen Kinsela and I'd like to invite you along to a brand new papercrafting website, RED EARTH SCRAPPING.
My little baby is just one month young but I am really excited to be supporting this fabulous sketch challenge blog.

I hope you will join the wonderful group of Red Earth members in our forum and gallery and also find some special goodies for yourself in our shop. We have a great variety of products and kits to suit every taste and every budget and during September I am expecting loads and loads of new stock including the ever faithful and gorgeous Prima, the always inspiring October Afternoon and the bright and cheery Sassafras Lass, to mention a few.

The Red Earth Scrapping Creative Team and I do our best to keep you inspired with lots of samples in our gallery, and our Weekly Challenges too. Each Monday morning a new challenge is revealed and you have until the last Sunday night of the month to upload at least 3 of the 4 weekly challenges to be in the running for an awsome monthly prize, a $30 shop voucher! One of the weekly challenges is a sketch challenge, and I'm sure you cant possibly guess where the sketches will come from for the next few months? LOL. So make sure when you've uploaded your entry here, you pop across to the Red Earth Scrapping gallery and put it in there too.

Our forum is a wonderful place for inspiration, but also a fun and friendly place to hang out and chat. Everyone is welcome to join in here - the more the merrier! Come and tell us about your day, share a tip or trick with other papercrafters, or make us giggle with a joke or funny story. Dont be shy joining in. Although our site is new, it is already quite a happening little place with a great group of ladies who have made it their online home for papercrafting. I hope you will find a home with us there too.

If there's any particular products you're trying to track down, please dont hesitate to ask me. And if you have any queries about my site or the shop, just give me a yell.

Good luck everyone with the Stuck Sketches!!!

Cheers,
Helen.
